Job Profile:The company is setting up a manufacturing unit on the outskirts of Mumbai and is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented

Factory Head

to spearhead the project. In this leadership role, you will ensure an efficient setup, necessary approvals, seamless operations and stringent quality standards. You will build a high-performing team and ensure timely delivery and cost optimization.

Job Responsibilities:Lead the operational setup and the day-to-day functioning of the factory, driving efficiency and excellence.Develop, implement and optimize production processes. Ensure timely and cost-efficient planning, aligned with business goals.Establish and maintain production QC processes by conducting regular inspections before dispatch.Collaborate with supply chain teams to maintain accurate inventory levels and secure timely availability of assembly components.Continuously enhance assembly line efficiency through waste reduction and process improvements.Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of assembly workers, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.Implement robust safety protocols ensuring compliance with both internal and external regulatory standards.Monitor key production metrics and prepare detailed operational reports for executive leadership, providing insights for strategic decision-making.Troubleshoot operational challenges and propose effective solutions for continuous process improvements.Be environmentally conscious and advise the organization on ESG.

Qualification:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Advanced degrees in Operations Management are a plus.

Experience:Experience of 12 to 13 years in manufacturing & assembly operations, preferably within the kitchen & home appliances. At least 3 years of leadership experience is a must.Strong leadership capabilities with a hands-on approach to managing operations and problem-solving.Familiarity with regulatory safety standards and experience in implementing Quality Management Systems.
