The RoleWe are looking for a dynamic and organized Activation Operations Manager to oversee and manage the operational aspects of our activation campaigns while collaborating with sales to drive growth. This role will focus on ensuring smooth execution of marketing activations, while also crossing into sales strategies, client engagement, and revenue generation. The ideal candidate will be based in India and possess strong leadership, operational, and communication skills.

What You’ll Do

Media Ad Operations & ImplementationWork closely with Activation director and specialist planners to implement media plans and ensure success in their set up, monitoring, reporting (including dashboarding), and campaign optimisation from beginning to endLead in campaign set up and implementation of programs across multi-faceted media channels including Paid/Organic Social, Search, Display, Programmatic & Content SyndicationVendor management to ensure best practices are being adhered toConsider new / trending technology across ad operations and partnerships to be implementedEnsure training and development processes are considered and developed across direct and broader teamManage budgets for activation campaigns, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and efficient cost management.Track and analyze the performance of activation initiatives, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.Evaluate and negotiate with external vendors to ensure high-quality services for activations.Leverage marketing technology tools (such as DMPs, DSPs, and analytics platforms) to track campaign performance, audience segmentation, and drive data-driven decision-making.Recommend A/B tests to be carried out

Sales Activation OperationsSupport the sales team in identifying opportunities for cross-selling activation services during client engagements.Assist in the development of activation packages and pricing models that drive revenue.Partner with the sales team to create presentations and proposals for clients that highlight activation capabilities and impact.Manage the execution, reporting, and optimization of e-mail nurture campaigns, ensuring best practices are being adhered to and recommended

Team Management and DevelopmentProvide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and skill sets.Set clear objectives and KPIs for the team, aligning them with organizational goals

What You’ll BringMinimum 5+ years of experience in activation operations, project management, or related roles within the advertising or marketing industry.Experience with Martech platforms such as: Social Media Management platforms (i.e. Sprinklr, Sprout, Social Studio), Content Syndication Tools (i.e. Integrate, Convertr, Overflow), Programmatic (DV360, TTD, Yahoo), Search (Google, SEMrush, Moz) – minimum experience with 2 platform groupsExperience in client-facing roles with strong communication and relationship-building skills.Proven track record of managing activation campaigns from concept to execution.Experience in collaborating with sales teams to identify and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities.Strong understanding of sales processes, client engagement, and revenue growth strategies.Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate across departments, including sales, creative, and finance.Proven leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor management.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.Based in India, with the flexibility to travel as needed for client meetings and activations.
