Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Generative AI Engineer Intern at CraticAI. The role involves working on cutting-edge technologies like Generative AI, Large Language Models, and machine learning. Day-to-day tasks include developing innovative AI solutions, creating high-impact content, and collaborating with the team to drive automation and efficiency.


Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Generative AI, Large Language Models, and machine learning
  • Experience in developing innovative AI solutions
  • Programming skills in Python, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
  • Knowledge of advanced data science techniques
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, AI, or related field


Key Responsibilities:

Model Development & Fine-Tuning:

  • Assist in designing and developing generative AI models, such as GPT, GANs (Generative Adversarial Networks), or VAEs (Variational Autoencoders).
  • Fine-tune pre-trained models to generate creative outputs (text, images, etc.) according to project requirements.

Research & Experimentation:

  • Research and implement state-of-the-art techniques in generative AI and deep learning.
  • Experiment with different architectures, loss functions, and optimization methods to improve model performance.

Data Preparation:

  • Assist in curating and preprocessing large datasets required for training generative models.
  • Perform data augmentation and transformation to improve model generalization.

Model Evaluation & Optimization:

  • Evaluate model performance using relevant metrics and adjust hyperparameters to optimize results.
  • Help implement model optimization techniques to reduce inference time and improve scalability.

Collaboration & Integration:

  • Work closely with AI researchers, data scientists, and software engineers to integrate generative models into production systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI outputs with business and user needs.

Deployment & Monitoring:

  • Assist in deploying generative AI models on cloud platforms or edge devices.
  • Set up monitoring pipelines to track model performance and ensure stability in production.


Educational Background:

  • Completed or relevant a degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.

Machine Learning Knowledge:

  • Basic understanding of machine learning and deep learning concepts.
  • Familiarity with neural network architectures (e.g., CNNs, RNNs, Transformers).

Programming & Frameworks:

  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience or coursework related to NLP, computer vision, or generative modeling.

Data Handling:

  • Basic understanding of data preprocessing techniques for large datasets.
  • Experience with libraries like NumPy, pandas, and scikit-learn.

Research & Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Ability to read and implement research papers and experiment with new algorithms.
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating model performance and troubleshooting issues.

Bonus Skills (Preferred but not required):

  • Knowledge of generative models such as GANs, VAEs, and transformers.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
