We are a multi-faceted ship design company with three verticals, viz.: 1) Naval Architectural services for new and existing vessels, 2) Design and Construction of High-Speed FRP boats and structures, and 3) Project management of new builds, including supply of all related machinery, equipment and outfitting items.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a design engineer at Marine Consultancy Group in the Kolkata metropolitan area. As a Designer, you will be responsible for assisting in designing and developing various projects, collaborating with the design team, and ensuring that design projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in design software such as Cad software, Rhino, Solidworks, etc.- Ability to visualise objects from drawings in 2D- Commitment to work ethics and no family problems for working late- Strong understanding of design principles and techniques- Qualified Naval Architects with at least 3 years of experience in a shipyard or 8 years of experience as a Senior Draftsman with any reputed consulting firm may apply- Persons seconded to big yards and working on developing blocks only may please excuse- Portfolio demonstrating creative ability and design projects- Excellent communication and teamwork skills- We are an equal-opportunity employer
