Job purposeDevelop, process, and test materials used to create a range of products from LED lamps to Appliances, Fans etc.Study the properties and structures of metals, ceramics, plastics, composites, nanomaterials and other substances to create new materials that meet certain mechanical, electrical, and chemical requirements for the above products. In addition, develop new ways to use existing materials.

Job ResponsibilitiesShe/he will have to handle a team of 5-6 membersInvestigate materials required for making the productsMust have knowledge of testing materialsRun research projects, investigate Paint related issues, research plastic required in productsPlastic, metals, polymers, paper (packaging)Plan and evaluate new projects, consulting with other engineers and managers as necessaryPrepare proposals and budgets, analyze labor costs, write reports, and perform other managerial tasksSupervise the work of technologists, technicians, and other engineers and scientistsDesign and direct the testing of processing proceduresWork with suppliers to specify and develop materialsMonitor how materials perform and evaluate how they deteriorateDetermine causes of product failure and develop ways of overcoming such failureShall be aware of Reliability lab equipment and various reliability tests of materials and electrical and electronic componentsPeople with inventions or high innovation potential preferred

Person SpecificationsQualification:

MTech in Material’s (Essential)Experience

- 10+ years MinimumExperience

: 9+ years experience from Automotive, Paint, Power equipment’s, Institutions which have materials LABMTech in Polymer Sc. and Eng./ Materials Science and EngineeringAble to make professional presentationTeam Handling experienceShould possess drive for results, problem solving skills, process approach, innovation mindsetWell network in technology oriented industry and the AcademyAbility to work in an entrepreneurial environment, must be able to handle multiple projects and completing priorities and effectively accomplish objectives
