Overview: The SAP MM& ISRetail IDOC Monitoring Incident Manager plays acritical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the SAP MM& ISRetail systems by overseeing IDOC monitoring andincident management. They are responsible for maintaining theintegrity and availability of the systems identifying and resolvingissues proactively and minimizing business impact caused by systemdisruptions.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Monitor SAP MM& ISRetail IDOC queues and messages for errors andinconsistencies.
  • Manage and resolve incidenttickets related to IDOC processing and systemerrors.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teamsto investigate and diagnose complex IDOC and systemissues.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring toolsto proactively identify potential systemdisruptions.
  • Analyze IDOC errors andperformance trends to identify areas forimprovement.
  • Develop and maintain documentationrelated to IDOC monitoring processes and incident managementprocedures.
  • Provide technical expertise andsupport for SAP MM & ISRetail IDOCinterfaces.
  • Participate in system testing andvalidation activities related to IDOCprocessing.
  • Lead root cause analysis effortsfor recurring IDOC processing issues.
  • Ensurecompliance with data integrity and security standards for IDOCprocessing.
  • Identify opportunities for processoptimization and automation within the IDOC monitoring and incidentmanagement functions.
  • Stay updated on thelatest SAP MM & ISRetail industry trends and bestpractices.
  • Collaborate with external vendorsfor escalated IDOCrelated issues andsupport.
  • Conduct regular audits of IDOCprocessing activities to maintain systemstability.
  • Assist in training and mentoringjunior team members on IDOC monitoring and incident management bestpractices.
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Technology or relatedfield.
  • 5 years of experience in SAP MM andISRetail module implementation andsupport.
  • Proven expertise in IDOC monitoringand incident management within SAPenvironments.
  • Indepth understanding of SAP IDOCprocessing and integration with externalsystems.
  • Experience with SAP IDOC message typessegment definition and custom IDOCdevelopment.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP MM& ISRetail master data procurement and inventory managementprocesses.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting andresolving IDOCrelated functional and technicalissues.
  • Excellent understanding of SAP datamigration and interface technologies.
  • Abilityto collaborate with crossfunctional teams and communicateeffectively with stakeholders.
  • Certificationsin SAP MM and ISRetail will be an addedadvantage.
  • Demonstrated experience in incidentmanagement problemsolving and root causeanalysis.
  • Proficiency in SAP Solution Managerand other monitoring tools.
  • Strong analyticaland decisionmaking skills with a focus on continuousimprovement.
  • Ability to work under pressure ina fastpaced environment and manage multiplepriorities.
  • Excellent written and verbalcommunicationskills.
