Then join Western Union as a Solution Architect, Solution Engineering (QA Architect).Western Union powers your pursuit.As a QA Architect, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of a service delivery model supporting assigned platforms through a predefined framework. You will be involved in the development of quality assurance test cases/suites to validate and verify delivery of system artifacts in accordance with customer needs.Role ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement testing and quality assurance artifacts for new and existing softwareEnsure that software functionality is implemented according to the product stakeholder needsLog and track system flaws using the JIRA issue tracking systemWhere necessary, develop and execute E2E functional test cases to detect issues that cannot be detected through automated meansAssist with triage, diagnosis, and resolution of issues discoveredDrive best practices throughout our software development process that will improve overall software reliability while minimizing overhead on development effortsDevelop automated test suites that enable our engineering team to easily write, run, and view results of automated functional and non-functional software testsWorks independently on complex projectsTroubleshoot application issues and coordinate issue resolution with operations, functional, and technical teamsWork with a software development team and Service providers in a geographically distributed structureEnsure the implementation of high-end, business-wide, critical strategy set by senior managementProvide direct oversight of quality assurance team, adhering to QA standards and SLAs, and escalating risks and issues to the Engineering Delivery teamsInvest time on a daily basis on all projects to remove impediments and provide solutions to technical challenges and make escalations as necessaryRole Requirements7+ years of software quality assurance experienceMust be a problem solver with demonstrated experience in solving difficult technology challenges, with a can-do attitudeSelf-starter with ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage workload, and consistently deliver resultsExperience in Agile and Iterative development methodologiesStrong communication skills with ability to interact with developers and product stakeholders globally.Experience with test management systems (e.g. Zephyr)Engage in continuous automated testing activity throughout agile development iterationsKnowledgeable of test automation best practices, technologies, tools, techniques and metricsAutomation experience with Selenium Web Driver/BDD FrameworkPerform code reviews and be able to suggest and influence design decisionsGood to have understanding and hands on experience with testing of SOAP.Strong background in test writing to provide full spectrum testing: Functional Stability, Performance Reliability, System Resource Utilization, UsabilityExperience in testing web-based solutionsKnowledge accessing relational databases (e.g. SQL scripting)Self-starter with ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage workload, and consistently deliver resultsPrior experience leading onshore and offshore delivery, including working overlapping business hours to partner with onshore teamsFamiliar with deployment strategies, including creation and oversight of multiple QA environmentsGood to Excellent written communication skills, including technical documentationPractical experience with creation of, and adherence to, an agile development scheduled for testing.BenefitsYou will also have access to short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident and life insurance, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few().
