Medical Lab Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of laboratory tests, including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, serology, and coagulation.
• Handle tasks across the pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases: from specimen collection/preparation to data analysis and result reporting.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments; oversee reagent preparation; perform quality control and assurance procedures.
• Document test results accurately in laboratory information systems (LIS) and forward findings to healthcare providers.
• Ensure the lab environment remains clean, safe, and compliant with regulations
• Support implementation of new fixtures or testing protocols, manage inventory of supplies, and sometimes supervise or train assistants.

Educational & Certification Requirements:

• Associate's degree in relevant field; accredited program preferred. (DMLT, MLT, BSC)

Skills & Competencies:

• Detailed technical knowledge and precision.
• Proficient in lab systems and analytical tools.
• Strong organization, time management, and teamwork.
• Excellent communication with clinical teams.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced hospital setting, with rotational or shift schedules.
• Use of personal protective equipment and strict safety standards.

Pay: ₹12, ₹25,000.00 per month
