Job Summary:
The IT Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive the adoption and success of our IT products and services. This role involves market research, product positioning, messaging development, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technology, market trends, and customer needs, along with proven experience in product marketing within the IT industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote IT products and services, including product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.Collaborate with product management, sales, and other teams to define product features, pricing, and packaging.Create compelling marketing collateral such as sales presentations, whitepapers, case studies, and website content to support product launches and ongoing marketing campaigns.Lead cross-functional teams to execute marketing initiatives, including advertising, email campaigns, social media, events, and webinars.Analyze marketing performance metrics and customer feedback to optimize marketing strategies and improve product positioning.Serve as a subject matter expert on our IT products and services, providing guidance and training to sales teams, partners, and customers.Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and threats.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.5+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the IT industry.Strong understanding of technology products and services, with the ability to translate technical features into customer benefits.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing content.Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional teams.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and insights to drive marketing decisions.Experience with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms is a plus.
