URL: & Responsibilities
Ability to plan and execute the Embedded system test activities, leveraging use cases in support of test case development.
Develop a comprehensive set of automated and manual tests, tracing tests to requirements to ensure complete test coverage.
Identify and diagnose Firmware and software defects, verifying correctness, and reporting results.
Apply knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines, as well as in-depth knowledge of assigned product or technology area in guiding the direction of software test efforts.
Ability to translate Product level specs into work scope.
Develop Product Requirement Verification & Validation of Application and Firmware.
Experience
0 to 4 years of experience in Embedded System Automation testing with Python scripting
Critical Success Factors
Ability to develop and execute Firmware test environments and test scripts to achieve automated test for embedded software.
Experience using Configuration Management tools (such as git, Subversion, GitLab)
Demonstrated experience using scripting languages (such as Bash/shell, Perl, Python, C, C++, C# etc.)
Prior experience with Jira, Test Mo, HPALM or other requirements/test case management tools
Experience in debugging and troubleshooting embedded systems issues
Exposure to multiple high level programming languages including Python, C++ and C.
Experience in various wireless communication protocols like BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, UHF etc
Experience in IR Protocol
Experience in sniffing and debugging wireless data using sniffing tools
Experience in End-to-end testing of Embedded systems products.
Experience in using various tools like Wireshark, Logic analyzer, Joule scope, Variable DC power supplies etc.
Academic Qualification
B.E or M.E. in Electronics and communication engineering
