Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Engineer to join our team at Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital & Research Centre in Mumbai. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring a work experience of 4 to 6 years. The Shift Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining the hospital's infrastructure, ensuring safety, and enhancing operational efficiency. Qualifications and Skills Expertise in preventive maintenance of hospital equipment to ensure operational efficiency and minimize downtime (Mandatory skill). Proficiency in mechanical systems repair with hands-on experience in troubleshooting issues promptly (Mandatory skill). Experience in maintaining and managing MEP services with a focus on quality standards and compliance (Mandatory skill). Strong understanding of machinery and associated services to maintain hospital operations smoothly. Ability to conduct performance evaluation of chiller plant systems for optimal functioning. Analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying and addressing engineering challenges effectively. Excellent communication skills to liaise with various departments and ensure smooth operations. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Roles and Responsibilities Perform regular preventive maintenance on hospital equipment to avoid unexpected failures and downtime. Diagnose and repair mechanical system issues to ensure that all hospital machinery operates efficiently. Oversee MEP services ensuring adherence to compliance standards and regulations. Conduct evaluations and performance tests on the chiller plant systems to ensure optimal efficiency. Coordinate with facility management to implement improvements and upgrades to the engineering systems. Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and service reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address infrastructure concerns and improvements. Ensure adherence to safety standards and guidelines, mitigating risks to staff and patients.
