Reporting To: Vice Chancellor / PresidentAbout the RoleThe Director – Pharmacy will provide visionary academic and administrative leadership to the School of Pharmacy. The role demands a seasoned academician with strong industry connect, deep understanding of regulatory compliance (PCI/AICTE/UGC), exceptional people leadership skills, and experience in building high-performing academic institutions.This position will lead the overall development, accreditation, research ecosystem, teaching excellence, student outcomes, and strategic partnerships for the Pharmacy Department.Key Responsibilities1. Academic Leadership & Program Management- Lead the design, review, and enhancement of all Pharmacy programs (D.Pharm, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Ph.D.).- Ensure curriculum alignment with PCI, AICTE, UGC norms and global best practices.- Drive academic quality, innovative pedagogy, and digital learning initiatives.- Oversee effective execution of teaching plans, timetables, exams, and assessment systems.2. Regulatory & Compliance Management- Ensure 100% compliance with all statutory and regulatory bodies (PCI, AICTE, UGC, NAAC).- Manage audits, inspections, documentation, and timely approvals.- Lead accreditation processes and contribute to ranking initiatives.3. Research, Innovation & Publications- Build a strong research culture with focus on high-quality publications, patents, funded projects, and collaborations.- Mentor faculty and students in research and project development.- Promote technology
