you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing audit engagements for our diverse client base. You will be responsible for leading audit teams, ensuring the quality and accuracy of financial statements, and providing valuable insights to clients. This position requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of auditing standards and regulations.Responsibilities:1.
Audit Planning and Strategy:
Develop comprehensive audit plans based on client needs, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Determine the scope of audits and allocate resources efficiently.2.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor audit teams throughout the engagement process. Provide guidance, support, and feedback to team members to ensure high-quality work and professional development.3.
Client Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during audit engagements. Communicate effectively to understand client needs, address concerns, and provide strategic recommendations.4.
Risk Assessment:
Identify and assess risks associated with client operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. Develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.5.
Financial Analysis:
Analyze financial statements, transactions, and accounting records to identify discrepancies, irregularities, or areas for improvement. Provide recommendations for enhancing financial performance and internal controls.6.
Quality Assurance:
Review audit workpapers, documentation, and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with auditing standards and firm policies.7.
Regulatory Compliance:
Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, auditing regulations, and industry trends. Ensure audit procedures are in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.8.
Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate strong relationships with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and opportunities. Identify opportunities to provide additional services and add value to client relationships.9.
Training and Development:
Provide training and development opportunities for audit staff to enhance their technical skills, industry knowledge, and professional competencies.10.
Continuous Improvement:
Participate in firm-wide initiatives to improve audit methodologies, tools, and processes. Identify opportunities for efficiency gains and quality enhancements in audit engagements.Qualifications:·
Chartered Accountant
with upto two years of experience·
Strong knowledge of auditing standards, regulations, and best practices.·
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.·
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.·
Proficiency in audit software, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant tools.·
Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
Salary - Annual Package from 7 Lakh - 10 Lakh per annum
