Senior Software Engineer- Data Engineering

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Technology team at Clarivate. He/She would be responsible for the Dev team deliverables. This would be an amazing opportunity to work in L & H domain. We are working on different tools and technologies like Pyspark, Python, databricks. About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or master’s degree (BE, ME, B Tech, MTech, MCA, MS) At least 2 years of experience in Data engineering. Clear understanding of Agile development approaches Have worked and significantly contributed to automation using build pipeline & junit testcases Demonstrable work done in product development & quality with teams spread across different locations worldwide Good working experience with GIT It would be great if you also had: Working knowledge of postgres/Redshift Queries Experience in Azure cloud platform or AWS ECS & Cloud Services. Understanding of CICD, jfrog security, sonarqube and veracode What will you be doing in this role? You will work closely with agile team for leading the delivery of high quality, innovative, and intuitive solutions to challenging and complex business problems. To be successful in this role, you will need strong logical, analytical and leadership skills to be applied to overcome challenges that arise when working across multiple technologies and cross geographies and culture. You will harness your creativity to lead the Team deliver quality solutions that consider our users and aim to significantly improve the productivity of their work day. What would you be doing in this role: Prepare the solution approaches, HLD and LLD document for the enhancements and fixes. Working on the backend api’s implementation. Involve in the code review. Lead delivery of high quality software for product enhancements that prioritize user experience as a key consideration. Mentor senior and junior members of the team & provide them technical direction Track and manage delivery of a product end to end with strong focus on best practices and reporting Demonstrate motivation, ownership, compassion and leadership capabilities within the Team.  What product will you be developing? About the Team The existing team is spread across India and includes Testers & datateam with strong technical and analytical skills. We have a great skill set in Java, springboot, jdbc & rest template, to name a few of the Tools and technologies. You would be part of large Dev Group responsible for delivering world class products and innovative solutions in the field of L & H. . Hours of Work This is a permanent position with Clarivate.
