The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain highly responsive web applications and interfaces using React.
  • Deploy builds on test sites for pre-production testing and quality assurance.
  • Work closely with back-end developers to integrate RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless data exchange and functionality across the application.
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring application security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to translate business requirements and user needs into technical solutions.
  • Stay abreast of emerging front-end technologies and best practices, advocating for their adoption where appropriate.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior front-end developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
  • Proficient in using Web hooks and Web sockets

Ideal Profile

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in front-end development, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in React and modern web technologies.
  • Proficiency in deploying builds to test environments and conducting thorough pre-launch testing.
  • Extensive experience with RESTful API integration and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
  • Solid understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Webpack, NPM, and Grunt.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a passion for sharing knowledge and collaborating with others.
