Through our unique ‘Kisan-Trace’ feature, customers can track the journey of their food, fostering trust in the safety and traceability of our products.Our mission, reflected in our tagline “Eat Right, from the Farm,” is to nourish millions of consumers with fresh, safe food.Position Overview We are building our IT team and are currently seeking a dynamic Database Administrator to join and lead our database operations.Key Responsibilities :-

Configuration and UpgradesSet up databases by installing necessary software (e.G., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).Database ArchitectureDesign logical and physical databases in collaboration with developers and data architects.Optimize schemas, tables, relationships, and indexes for performance and scalability.Develop data models that align with business needs.Performance Monitoring and OptimizationMonitor database performance metrics and address bottlenecks.Conduct query tuning and index optimization for efficiency.Manage load balancing and concurrency for optimal performance.Backup and Recovery ManagementImplement robust backup strategies to safeguard data.Plan and test disaster recovery and failover systems.Regularly test backups for data restoration accuracy.SecurityManage access controls and user permissions.Ensure data encryption and apply security protocols to protect sensitive information.Monitor for unauthorized access and implement auditing mechanisms.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.G., GDPR, HIPAA).Troubleshooting and Issue ResolutionDiagnose and resolve database errors, deadlocks, and downtime issues.Provide support to developers and end-users for database-related queries.Documentation and ReportingMaintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations and processes.Generate reports on system health, performance, and security incidents.Preferred QualificationsEducation: B.E./M.E. in Computer Engineering or equivalent.Experience: 10-12 years of hands-on experience as a Database Administrator, preferably in:E-commerce applications.IT infrastructure management, cloud platforms (e.G., AWS, Aurora), and data center operations.Skills:Proficiency in MySQL, Postgre SQL, MSSQL, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server.Strong knowledge of SQL and database programming languages.Solid understanding of database design principles and data modeling techniques.Familiarity with cloud database solutions (e.G., AWS Aurora, MSSQL).Passion for technology and a commitment to sustainable agriculture.Why Join Us?If you’re passionate about technology to drive change and want to play a pivotal role in the operation of a dynamic e-commerce platform, Kisankonnect is the place for you.
