Responsibilities

:

Define and document best practices and strategies regarding PowerBi application deployment and maintenance to include workflows, processes, and standards.To engage with BI developer, business analysts, client service teams and technical teams to understand needs for projects to create necessary environment and user groups.Keep up to date on upgrade schedules, releases, and new features.Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful design.Oversee the deployment of related SQL functions, data entities and data connectors.To work closely with internal IT, Server, Security teams to troubleshoot including reviewing logs and resolve issues with production/non-production environments.Monitor server activity and logs to identify possible performance issues with data sets and reports.Assist in integrating Data Warehouses to Redshift and Power BI.Assist with implementing Power BI apps/reports, data sets and dashboards.Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable. accommodation.Qualifications & Education Requirements:Must be Graduate or above in Computer ScienceKnowledge & Work Experience :4-5 years’ experience in the rolePreferred Skills :3-5 years of experience with Power BI and related technologies2 years of experience with data warehousesSQL Query Writing knowledge (SP, View, Tuning)Experience creating Power BI datasets and dataflows and reports.Excel knowledge, including Power BI excel plugin, PowerPivot, and formulasDemonstrated success in developing and deploying enterprise-level solutionsExperience in designing and developing reporting and advanced analytics solutionsFamiliarity with data integration (ETL) solutions and logical data modelingGood understanding of Power BI tenant, on-prem data gateway, workspace, and capacity settingsCRITICAL COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS:Business Acumen: In-depth knowledge of the business, industry, external marketplace, and the ability to conceptually pull together patterns or connections that are not clearly related; ability to apply insight across a wide range of tactical to strategic issues to consistently identify and select the best course of action.Strategic Agility: Eagerness and ability to learn quickly and leverage a flexible mindset in response to shifting dynamics, adversity, and/or change; continually pushes oneself, their teams, and their businesses to learn, to generate new ideas, and (at times) to take needed risks to position the company favorably in the marketplace.* Disciplined Execution: Orientation towards a process-focused, decisive course of action that will ensure client/customer needs are met with a high standard of excellence, urgency, and predictability; focused on the task at hand in the face of ambiguity and applies past experiences and expertise to consistently pull through results.* Organizational Collaboration: Ability to partner across organizational lines and work cooperatively within and outside one’s own team in order to best serve client needs and exceed the expectations of end customers and clients; actively supports key decisions and promote a spirit of teamwork to demonstrate the commitment to the company.
