The Role :

We're seeking a talented and experienced Senior Test Analyst to join our growing team in Hyderabad In this full-time, on-site role, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications through a comprehensive testing strategy.

Your responsibilities will encompass :

- Test Planning and Design : Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand requirements, define test plans, and design effective test cases covering various functionalities and user scenarios.

- Test Execution : Utilize your expertise in manual testing methodologies to thoroughly execute test cases, identify and document defects, and ensure all functionalities are working as intended.

- Test Automation : Leverage your knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) to automate repetitive test cases, improve test coverage, and enhance efficiency.

- Defect Management : Effectively log and track bugs within a bug tracking system (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla), collaborate with developers to resolve defects, and verify fixes through retesting.

- Test Reporting : Prepare comprehensive test reports that summarize test execution results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

- Stay Ahead of the Curve : Continuously learn and adapt to emerging testing methodologies and tools to ensure best practices are implemented.

Qualifications :

- 6+ years of experience in software testing, demonstrating proficiency in both manual and automation testing techniques.

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

- Hands-on experience with manual testing methodologies, including black-box, white-box, and exploratory testing.

- Familiarity with various testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) for test automation is a plus.

- Experience with API testing and performance testing is a strong asset.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and troubleshoot software defects.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work independently and seamlessly with developers, product owners, and other team members.

- Experience in the IT industry is a plus.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Additional Technical Skills (to consider adding) :

- Experience with test frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG) for writing and maintaining automated test scripts.

- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) for managing test scripts and code.

- Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and extracting test data.

- Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for integrating automated tests.

- Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks and tools for testing mobile applications (if applicable).
