Position Overview
The HR Business Partner serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aligning people strategies with organizational goals. This role drives workforce planning, talent development, and employee engagement while ensuring compliance with HR policies and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Partnering
- Collaborate with business heads to understand workforce requirements and translate them into effective HR strategies.
- Support organizational design, manpower planning, and change management initiatives to enable business growth.
2. Talent Management & Development
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure timely hiring and smooth onboarding.
- Drive succession planning and career development programs to build a strong internal talent pipeline.
3. Performance & Engagement
- Facilitate goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback sessions in line with the Performance Management System (PMS).
- Design and execute employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale, retention, and culture.
4. Employee Relations & Compliance
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters, grievance handling, and disciplinary procedures while ensuring fairness and adherence to labor laws.
- Ensure 100% compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (PF, ESIC, Shops & Establishment, etc.).
5. HR Policy & Process Excellence
- Implement and continuously improve HR policies, ensuring alignment with best practices and business needs.
- Track HR metrics (attrition, time-to-hire, engagement scores) and present insights for leadership decisions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education:
MBA/PGDM in HR, or equivalent Master's degree. - Experience:
8–12 years in HR with at least 4–5 years in a business partnering or HR generalist capacity. - Technical Skills:
Proficiency in HRMS/HRIS platforms, strong understanding of labor laws and HR analytics.

- Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities
- Data-driven decision-making and problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to influence and drive change across cross-functional teams
