Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Cardiologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, managing, and treating patients with various cardiovascular conditions. The role includes providing expert clinical care, performing advanced diagnostic tests and procedures, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive cardiac services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert consultation and care for patients with heart and vascular diseases such as:

• Coronary artery disease

• Arrhythmias
• Hypertension
• Heart failure

• Valvular heart disease

• Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures:

• ECG, Echocardiography, Stress testing

• Holter monitoring

• Cardiac CT/MRI (if applicable)

• (If Interventional) Perform interventional procedures:

• Coronary angiography

• Angioplasty and stent placement

• Pacemaker and ICD implantation

• (If Electrophysiologist) Manage arrhythmias with EP studies and ablations.

• Coordinate with cardiac surgeons, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and critical care teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Supervise and mentor junior doctors, residents, and cardiology fellows (if academic).
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records and documentation.
• Participate in on-call duties as per departmental schedule.
• Engage in continuing medical education (CME), research, and departmental meetings.
