Your duties as a FAS include but are not limited to the following:

Complete production tasks on time according to the work schedule, ensuring that tasks are completed with quality and quantity.

  • Provide technical support to sales and customers by answering technical inquiries, running samples, and providing on-site support.
  • Support customers in BGI joint laboratory construction, including the laboratory site evaluation, experiment operation, and acceptance check.
  • Work closely with sales to analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions during pre and post-sale, through the provision of technical expertise.
  • Work closely with the Application Engineer and for delivering support to the customer.
  • Other tasks assigned by line manager.



The successful candidates for this position are able to demonstrate:

Possess one or more of the following operational skills: Wet lab/bench experience with molecular biology applications such as PCR, qPCR, NGS, clinical research/diagnostic, etc. (NGS experience is preferred);

  • Possess high execution and teamwork ability;
  • Good at finding problems and summarizing experience in work;
  • Have good communication and coordination skills and be able to withstand greater work pressure.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in molecular biology, genetics, or other life science disciplines or equivalent.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office software, especially in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn new technology and skills.
  • Willing to work with Chinese colleagues and travel periodically.
  • Fluency in English language.
