We are searching for a creative and experienced Ethnic and Party wear Kids wear Designer with 2-3 years of relevant experience to join the team. The ideal candidate should be well versed to design fashionable and culturally inspired clothing for kids, with a focus on ethnic and partywear categories.


  • Proficient with Adobe Illustrator & other computer-aided fashion design applications and digital visualization tools.
  • Conceptualize and design seasonal collections of ethnic and partywear for kids, incorporating traditional elements with contemporary trends and styles.
  • Knowledge of traditional textiles, embroideries, and embellishments used in ethnic and partywear design.
  • Research global fashion trends, cultural influences, and festive occasions to inform design concepts and color palettes for ethnic and party wear collections.
  • Create detailed sketches, tech packs, and specification sheets for each design, ensuring accuracy and clarity for the production team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, merchandising, and marketing to ensure cohesive and commercially viable product assortments.
  • Source and select fabrics, trims, embellishments, and accessories that align with the design vision and meet quality standards and budget requirements.
  • Oversee sample development and fittings, providing feedback and revisions to achieve the desired fit, silhouette, and aesthetic for each garment.
  • Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and opportunities for innovation in the kids wear market.
  • Maintain organized design files, archives, and records to track the development and evolution of ethnic and party wear collections over time.
