Roles and Responsibility

Looking for a data scientist who will help usdiscover the information hidden in vast amounts of data and help usmake smarter decisions to deliver even better products. Your primary focus willbe on applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis,and building high-quality prediction systems & recommendation enginesintegrated with our products.

About the Role:

Experience applying machine learning methods in settingslike recommender systems, search, user modeling, image recognition, graphrepresentation learning, and natural language processing. Must be Passionate about recommendation systems and deeplearning. Provide thought leadership and influence various aspectsof the AI/ML pipeline including feature extraction, feature engineering, AI/MLmodel selection, training, and deployment. Work closely with Product Management/Analytics teams toensure that key customer KPIs are tracked, monitored, and improved. Determine the appropriate tools, techniques, andmethodologies to extract data that produces meaningful results. Demonstrable knowledge of building and scaling MLpipelines and engineering (Google Cloud Vertex AI, Kubeflow, TFX, etc.) Analyzing the ML algorithms that could be used to solve agiven problem and ranking them by their success probability. Exploring and visualizing data to gain anunderstanding of it, then identifying differencesin data distribution that could affect performance when deploying themodel in the real world. Supervising the data acquisition process ifmore data is needed. Verifying data quality, and/or ensuring itvia data cleaning Defining validation strategies, preprocessing, or featureengineering to be done on a given dataset Defining data augmentation pipelines Deploy Training models and tune their hyper-parameters. Work with data engineering and the full MLpipeline toward model development and deployment Presents papers and/or attends conferences, as well asdisplays leadership in these areas. Contribute to the creation and maintenance ofdocumentation, user guides, and training materials. Identify opportunities to apply the latest advancementsin AI/ML to build, test, and validate predictive models. Experience playing the role offull-stack data scientist and taking solutions to production.

About Candidate:

Proven experience 5- 8 yrs. as a Machine LearningEngineer or similar role Understandingof data structures, data modeling, and softwarearchitecture Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics, andalgorithms Strong Python coding and package development skills Hands-on experience in PyTorch, NumPy, Pandas,TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-Learn, SQL Industry experience in deploying ML/DL models intoproduction (familiarity with scalability/latency/portability concerns,experience with experimentation and hyperparameter tuning) Experience with Visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI,Streamlit) Excellent communication skills Ability to work in a team. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skill
