Job Summary:

Client is looking for Automation COE Senior/Lead Tester and this is remote position from India



Responsibilities:

  • Work in collaboration across multiple teams.
  • Implement and document Best Practices for the Automation COE.
  • Familiar with Test Strategy and Planning.
  • Facilitate COE Governance Meetings.
  • Implement New Automation Tools as needed.
  • Identify Guidelines, Coding Standards, Automation Framework for ASG IT Automation
  • Provide Guidance to the team on scripting, framework, and naming conventions.
  • Works closely with the different stakeholders on Automation deliverables.
  • Understand the SDLC/SLC.
  • Understand Agile and Scrum Methodologies.
  • Experience working with offshore and onshore testing teams.



Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Understand the Software testing strategies, including White Box, Black Box, Negative, Edge Cases, etc.
  • 8+ years of hands on experience in Test Automation using UFT/Tosca including framework development and enhancement activities.
  • Strong Experience in leading Org wide Automation Strategy and managing Automation Center of Excellence
  • Understand the Software testing strategies and agile methodologies.
  • Mentoring and Coaching on Automation Best Practices
  • Experience on establishing overall governance in Test Automation across multiple projects.
  • Experienced in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience working with offshore and onshore automation testers.
  • Experience in UFT, Tosca and other Automation Tools
  • Experience with solving technical challenges in test automation and CICD implementation.
  • Hands on experience on Database testing such as SQL, Oracle, SQL Server.
  • Proficient in Git and Devops (CI/CD pipeline)
  • Proficient in Object-Oriented Programming languages such as Java, C#, Python (anyone)
  • Proficient in implementing distributed testing model
  • Proficient at Data Structure design
  • Hands on experience in automation testing of REST API and good understanding of HTTP methods
  • Hand on experience using API tools(Postman, Fiddler, etc) experience
  • Hands on experience in having a centralized Test Data development strategy
  • Good understanding in Backend Jobs testing.
  • Understanding of Azure DevOps is a plus
  • Experience in other automation tools (Selenium, Rest Assured etc..) is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in coding standards.
