Educational Requirement: -

  • Education Requirements: Degree or Diploma in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or related field
  • Years of experience: 6-8 years i n land surveying, preferably in industrial, logistics, or large-scale infrastructure projects.

Role Description: - The Land Surveyor will be responsible for accurately measuring, mapping, and documenting land for Welspun One's logistics parks, industrial developments, and SEZ projects. By defining exact legal property boundaries and identifying critical topographical features, the role ensures smooth land acquisition, regulatory compliance, and effective project planning. The incumbent will support the development, leasing, and construction teams by providing precise land data, preventing boundary disputes, and enabling informed decisions for infrastructure and commercial development.

Essential Accountabilities: -
1. Boundary Surveys:-

Confirm and establish exact property lines in accordance with government records, deeds, and legal documentation.
Physically mark boundaries on-site to prevent encroachment or ownership disputes.

2. Topographical Surveys:-

Map natural and man-made features such as trees, slopes, buildings, and roads.
Provide critical data for architects, engineers, and project managers to evaluate development feasibility.

3. Subdivision Surveys:-

Design and document new legal boundaries when dividing land into smaller plots for development or leasing.

4. Construction Staking:-

Mark precise locations for structures, roads, and utilities on project sites based on approved engineering and architectural plans.

5. Easement & Right-of-Way Identification:-

Identify utility paths, rights-of-way, and easements for pipelines, electricity, or roadways.
Ensure land acquisitions are free from hidden restrictions that could impact future development.

6. Legal & Regulatory Support:-

Provide survey documentation required for loan approvals, land registration, and government clearances.
Liaise with legal and corporate affairs teams to ensure land data aligns with statutory requirements.

7. Technology & Data Management:-

Use GPS, GIS, drones, and traditional surveying instruments to collect and analyze data.
Maintain accurate survey records and digital mapping files for future reference.
