Job Description :


As a Java Technical Project Manager , you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing Java/J2EE-related projects, particularly in the banking sector.

You will leverage your extensive experience in Java development, along with strong analytical, design, and troubleshooting skills, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Additionally, you will utilize your technical expertise and leadership abilities to effectively manage teams, communicate with stakeholders, and drive project success.

Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage Java/J2EE-related projects, particularly in the banking sector, from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

- Utilize 12+ years of experience in Java/J2EE-related projects, with a focus on analytical, design, and troubleshooting skills, to provide technical guidance and expertise to project teams.

- Oversee the last 3-4 years in a technical project manager role, demonstrating excellent communication, leadership, customer management, and team management skills.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop project plans.

- Utilize technical skills in Core Java, Multithreading, J2EE, Design Patterns, Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Web services (REST/SOAP), Oracle SQL/PLSQL, and Deployment and Cluster Application Architecture to ensure the successful implementation of projects.

- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

- Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including project status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans, to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.

- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/BTech) or MBA with a minimum of 60% marks.

- 12+ years of experience in Java/J2EE-related projects, particularly in the banking sector, with strong analytical, design, and troubleshooting skills.

- Last 3-4 years in a technical project manager role, demonstrating excellent communication, leadership, customer management, and team management skills.

- Technical skills in Core Java, Multithreading, J2EE, Design Patterns, Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Web services (REST/SOAP), Oracle SQL/PLSQL, and Deployment and Cluster Application Architecture.

- Proven ability to lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels and foster collaborative relationships.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions.

- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
