Job Description :


As a Gaming Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining game systems and features, ensuring high performance and quality.

You will work closely with designers, artists, and other engineers to create captivating gaming experiences.

Your expertise in game development frameworks and tools will be crucial in driving the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities :

Game Development :

- Design, develop, and implement game features and systems using industry-standard game development frameworks and engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine).

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in languages such as C++, C#, or JavaScript.

- Collaborate with designers and artists to translate creative visions into functional gameplay elements.

Optimization and Performance :

- Optimize game performance to ensure smooth gameplay and high frame rates.

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and memory issues.

- Implement efficient algorithms and data structures suitable for game development.

Prototyping and Testing:

- Rapidly prototype new game concepts and features.

- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure stability and functionality.

- Work with QA teams to identify and fix bugs and issues.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, artists, and other engineers, to achieve project goals.

- Communicate technical concepts and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Participate in design and code reviews to maintain high standards of quality.

Continuous Learning and Improvement :

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in game development technologies and trends.

- Continuously improve and expand your skill set to contribute to the success of the team and projects.

- Share knowledge and mentor junior team members.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.

- 3 to 6 years of experience in game development.

- Strong proficiency in game development frameworks and engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine).

- Solid understanding of programming languages such as C++, C#, or JavaScript.

- Experience with 3D graphics programming and rendering techniques.

- Knowledge of game physics, animation, and AI systems.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with multiplayer game development and networking.

- Familiarity with VR/AR development.

- Knowledge of shaders and GPU programming.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
