Job Title: Principal Machine Learning Engineer Location: Bengaluru, India Company: US-Based SaaS Product Company Experience: 8-12 years About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Large Language Models (LLMs). You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying advanced ML solutions that drive innovation and business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of Machine Learning models, focusing on NLP, RAG, and LLMs. Architect and optimize ML pipelines for scalability, efficiency, and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and engineers, to define technical requirements and deliver impactful ML solutions. Research and evaluate state-of-the-art ML models and technologies to improve existing systems. Build and fine-tune LLMs for specific business use cases. Develop robust data pipelines and integrate ML models into production environments. Mentor and guide junior engineers and data scientists. Drive best practices for ML model deployment, monitoring, and maintenance. Required Skills and Qualifications: 8-12 years of experience in Machine Learning, NLP, and AI. Strong expertise in LLMs and RAG frameworks. Proficiency in Python and ML libraries/frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, etc.). Experience in designing and deploying large-scale ML models in production environments. Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model optimization. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a SaaS product company. Contributions to open-source ML/NLP projects.
