You will help architect our next generation of data analytics and visualization tools to help insurance companies glean actionable insights into their operational performance.

Who You Are

You are an enthusiastic engineer who is passionate about building high-quality software and leading a great team by improving the customer experience for all of our customers who use our products every day. You have a fine attention to detail and love visualizing data in all forms. You can quickly build new features in an agile environment. You are a self-starter and able to perform with minimal supervision while working alongside intelligent colleagues who've checked their egos at the door in a team environment, communicating effectively with everyone. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership : Lead design and architecture discussions for complex software systems, ensuring alignment with the company's technical vision and long-term scalability. Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Coding Excellence : Develop high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code using

Java and related technologies . Code Reviews & Best Practices : Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and uphold coding standards and best practices. Mentorship : Guide and mentor junior engineers, sharing expertise in Java, software design principles, and industry best practices. Performance & Security : Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and other technical challenges. Continuous Learning : Stay updated with the latest advancements in

Java technologies , industry trends, and emerging best practices. Agile Development : Actively participate in agile methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications & Experience Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience : 8+ years of professional experience in software development using

Java / J2EE .

Technical Expertise : Proven experience in designing and implementing

scalable, high-performance software systems . Strong understanding of

software architecture patterns, object-oriented design, and design patterns . Proficiency in frameworks like

Spring Boot, Microservices, and RESTful APIs . Experience with

cloud platforms

(AWS, GCP, or Azure). Good to have any frontend stacks like Javascript or UI frameworks. Familiarity with

CI/CD tools

(Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.). Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Soft Skills : Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of leading technical discussions and mentoring junior engineers. Agile & Tools : Experience working in

Agile/Scrum

environments, using tools like

Jira, Confluence .
