Job Description AGM (Business Development, Leasing)
Position Title: Team Member – Leasing
Department: Business Development

Reports To: Head – Business Development
Role Summary
The AGM – Leasing will be responsible for driving prospect generation, client engagement, and end-to-end deal execution across commercial, retail, and industrial asset portfolios. The role directly contributes to achieving revenue and occupancy targets by managing leasing transactions from lead sourcing and negotiations through documentation and handover, while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prospect Generation & Channel Partner Engagement
- Identify and qualify leasing prospects through digital tools, market intelligence, and broker networks.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with IPCs, brokers, and tenant representatives.
- Track and report prospect pipeline and conversions in CRM/trackers.
2. Commercial Negotiations & Deal Closure
- Develop tailored proposals and client presentations.
- Conduct site tours and manage client interactions until deal finalization.
- Coordinate with legal, finance, design, and project teams to finalize technical and commercial terms.
- Facilitate execution of term sheets, MoUs, and lease agreements, ensuring timely approvals and documentation.
3. Client Relationship & Lifecycle Management
- Serve as the key liaison for clients throughout the leasing cycle.
- Oversee onboarding, handover documentation, and fit-out coordination.
- Monitor lease expiries and proactively manage renewals, re-leasing, or exit interactions.
4. Marketing & Brand Alignment
- Support preparation of marketing materials, digital brochures, and pitch decks.
- Work with marketing teams to drive campaigns, sponsorships, and trade promotions.
- Contribute to asset-specific branding and experiential sales initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience
- MBA/PGDM required
- 10–15 years' experience in commercial, retail, or industrial leasing with strong exposure to lead generation, client engagement, and deal closure
