Technical Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:Develop detailed project plans outlining objectives, milestones, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
Coordinate with engineering teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
Monitor project progress, track tasks, and proactively identify and address issues or risks to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery. Team Leadership and Collaboration:
Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, testers, and other specialists involved in the development, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
Provide technical guidance, support, and mentorship to team members, ensuring alignment with project goals and adherence to industry standards and best practices.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members, promoting knowledge sharing and problem-solving to overcome technical challenges. Technical Expertise and Problem Solving:
Apply deep technical knowledge of ECU architecture, embedded systems, software development, and automotive electronics to guide project activities and decision-making.
Identify and resolve technical issues, conflicts, and dependencies that may impact project progress or deliverables, leveraging analytical and problem-solving skills.
Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate design alternatives, assess technical feasibility, and optimize ECU performance, reliability, and scalability. Stakeholder Management and Communication:
Serve as contact for stakeholders (esp. management), providing regular updates on project status, progress, and key milestones.
Manage stakeholder expectations, address concerns, and facilitate effective communication channels to ensure alignment with project objectives and requirements.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:Proven experience (5 years) in technical project management roles within the automotive industry, with a focus on ECU development or related areas.
Strong understanding of automotive ECU architecture, embedded systems, software development lifecycle, and automotive electronics.
Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project).
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Experience with quality assurance processes, testing methodologies, and risk management practices.
