PositionSummary: Contiem is seeking acandidate to oversee and optimize financial operations with a focuson Accounts Receivables Invoicing Accounts Payable and overallAccounting Processes. The Accounting Manager will manage projectaccounting financial reporting collaborate with external auditorsand ensure compliance with corporate policies and controls. Thisrole involves strategic engagement with senior management to drivebusiness unit budgeting and financial insights while maintaining astrong focus on operational efficiency regulatory compliance andtimelyreporting.
EssentialDuties &Responsibilities:
  • Responsiblefor ensuring Accounts Receivables/Invoicing and Accounts Payablemeet Corporate Key Performance Indicators (e.g. Cash by Month AR/APaging Rate forecasting Overhead(OH) General &Administration (G&A) Employee Productivity Revenue byproduct by vertical by country etc.).
  • OverseeAccounting processes polices and the administration of corporateaccounting policies.
  • Maintain a calendar ofIndian legal entity compliance requirement for timely submissionsreporting and updates.
  • Project accounting timecollection revenue recognition invoicing and financialperformance.
  • Work directly with external auditteams on annual financial audits and taxpayments.
  • Oversee the Accounting teamresponsible for all aspects of accounting (processing travelrequests reconciling credit cards validating approvals projectsetup etc.) and payroll operations.
  • Work withHR on benefits renewals in case these are assigned to the Indiabackoffice teams.
  • Working closely with theManaging Director and Corporate Controller in building managing andplacing controls on business units and overall companybudget.
  • Oversee the accounting managementsystem and drive insights for optimal financialperformance.
  • Lead a culture of engagementwithin the operating unit team.
  • Collaborate andbe responsible for updating financial statements resulting from thebimonthly reporting of operating unitperformance.
  • Coordinate and/or prepare internaland external presentations.
  • Collaborate anddeliver updated service pricing support for proposals asneeded.
  • Provide data to the operations andbusiness units and/or guidance on revenue recognition costanalysisreporting asset analysis and subsidiary financialreporting.
  • Responsible for the monthly updatesto the Revenue and Cost Forecast.
  • Responsiblefor charge numbers ensure accurate charging and reporting of hourswhile collaborating with the Contract Managementfunction.
  • Responsible for policies associatedwith Charging Delegations to Subsidiariesetc.
  • Adhere to deadlines for providing data onmonthly actuals and invoicing tax forecasting and timelypayments.
Experience andSkills Mandatory Requirements&Qualifications :
  • ABachelor s degree in Accounting; professional accountingcertification (CPA chartered accountant ACCA etc.) aplus.
  • Knowledge of US GAAPrequired.
  • 7 years of experience inAccounting.
  • Experience working in aprofessional services environment (of similarindustry).
  • Knowledge of international bankingsystems and practices.
  • Handson experience insetting up and leading accounting teams who support multiplebusiness verticals in global technologyservices.
  • Experience and knowledge of thelatest regulatory compliance requirements for Indian legalentities.
  • A high level of business awarenessand acumen and a strong understanding of accounting and corporateoperations particularly from a subsidiaryperspective.
  • Be able to demonstrate a highdegree of integrity decisiveness and attention todetail.
  • Excellent Leadership communication(written and verbal) and organizationalskills.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolvingskills.
  • Understanding contract management legaland regulatory requirements and recommending best practices basedon knowledge and experiences.
  • Ability toconduct discussions through proposals andpresentations.
  • Strong management and conflictmediation skills.
  • Proven corporate experiencein multinational environments managing responsibilities ingloballeveloperations.
