Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, remote role for a Commercials Scriptwriter/Director – Instagram Reels Focus at Trademarkia India. The Scriptwriter/Director will be responsible for writing, directing, and producing short-form video commercials, Instagram Reels, and ad campaigns that drive engagement and conversions. The ideal candidate will be a creative storyteller with a knack for writing compelling scripts tailored to Instagram audiences and trends.
Key Responsibilities
Scriptwriting & Storyboarding:
Develop catchy scripts, punchy dialogues, and compelling storylines for Instagram Reels and short video ads.Directing Commercials:
Oversee the filming process, ensuring the creative vision is executed with high-quality visuals and engaging narratives.Concept Development:
Collaborate with the marketing team to create creative concepts that align with campaign goals and audience preferences.Trend Incorporation:
Stay current with Instagram Reels trends, incorporating trending sounds, styles, and challenges into scripts and videos.Editing Oversight:
Work with video editors or personally edit content using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.A/B Testing:
Experiment with different storytelling techniques, hooks, and formats to evaluate what resonates best with the audience.Performance Analysis:
Track engagement metrics, analyze content performance, and refine creative strategies for future reels.Collaborative Campaign Execution:
Partner with influencers, UGC creators, and voice-over artists to produce high-impact, authentic content.Qualifications
Mandatory:Minimum
2 years of experience
writing and directing short-form commercial video content (e.g., Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts).Strong
scriptwriting skills , with an understanding of how to hook viewers quickly.Experience
directing on-set productions , including working with actors, influencers, and voice-over artists.Proficiency in
video editing software
(e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and ability to oversee post-production.In-depth understanding of
Instagram Reels trends , algorithms, and best practices for engagement.Excellent
storytelling skills , with a sharp sense of humor and knowledge of pacing for short-form content.Preferred Skills:Experience working with influencers or managing
UGC content .Basic knowledge of
graphic design tools
like Canva or Photoshop for thumbnail and overlay creation.Familiarity with video analytics tools and
A/B testing
methods.Experience creating campaigns for international markets and adapting to
