Job Description:

Sephora is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer specializing in iOS app automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure the highest quality of our iOS applications. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies, troubleshoot issues, and deliver seamless user experiences.


Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for iOS applications.

• Develop and implement testing strategies and frameworks for mobile app testing.

• Identify, document, and track bugs and ensure timely resolution.

• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Perform code reviews to ensure high-quality test code and identify areas for improvement.

• Provide input on the overall quality assurance processes and methodologies.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 3+ years of experience in automation testing, with a focus on iOS applications.

• Proficiency with automation tools such as Appium, XCTest, or XCUITest or any equivalent tool.

• Strong understanding of mobile app development and iOS architecture.

• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Swift, JavaScript, or Python.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with testing e-commerce or retail applications.

• Knowledge of API testing and backend automation.

• Familiarity with performance testing tools and methodologies.
