Job Description
About the Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic and empathetic
Relationship Manager
to join our customer success team. You'll be the human connection for our self-serve customers who need a little extra help with their more significant financial decisions.
This role isn't about sales; it's about providing
expert advice and guidance
to empower customers on their financial journey. You'll primarily handle inbound requests from customers who are already using the Scripbox app for their daily investments but need help with more complex transactions or want advice on how to manage a large sum of money.
What You'll Do
- Be the go-to expert for complex transactions: Respond to inbound queries from customers, guiding them through high-value or complicated transactions within the Scripbox app.
- Advise on major investments: Help customers who have received a sudden influx of cash (e.g., bonus, inheritance) by providing expert guidance on how to invest a large lumpsum of money.
- Strategize investment plans: For customers making large investments, help them build a tailored plan. For example, you might advise them on using a Debt fund with a Systematic Transfer Plan (STP) into Equity funds to take advantage of rupee cost averaging.
- Educate and empower: While assisting customers, you'll educate them on financial best practices, helping them understand the "why" behind their investment decisions.
- Collaborate and improve: Work with our product and engineering teams to provide customer feedback and identify opportunities to improve the app experience and reduce the need for manual assistance.
What We're Looking For
- Exceptional Communication Skills: You can explain complex financial concepts in a simple, easy-to-understand manner.
- Customer-First Mindset: You are genuinely interested in helping people and have a talent for building trust and rapport quickly.
- Strong Financial Knowledge: You have a solid understanding of mutual funds, their various types, and investment strategies like asset allocation, STPs, and long-term goal planning. Knowledge of other financial products like stocks and FDs is a plus.
- Problem-Solving Skills: You're a creative thinker who can analyze a customer's unique situation and offer a tailored solution.
- High Ownership: You take full responsibility for the customer experience and are dedicated to ensuring their success.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or a similar customer-facing role.
Education & Certifications:
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- NISM certifications (especially Mutual Fund Distributors) are a strong plus. If you don't have them, you will be required to obtain them within 90 days of joining.
