Sap Abap Architect

Title: S/4 HANA ABAP Architect Location : Any India Exp range : 10-14 yrs Job Description: - Strong knowledge/experience with SAP S4HANA in ABAP Module. Knowledge in Fiori / UI5 is an added advantage - Experience as SAP ABAP Developer, ACR, SAP CDS developer / BRF+ / AMDPs - Experience in full life cycle implementation projects. Experience in ECC to HANA Migration S4 HANA ABAP Consultant is accountable for development and ongoing maintenance/enhancements of business systems. Ability to analyze business requirements, review existing systems, define the solution, and translate that into detailed programming designs. Ability to take detailed programming designs and perform the development required to translate them into efficient and accurate code. Capable of effectively communicating with internal and external customers possessing various levels of technical knowledge. Ability to determine the underlying issue when presented with sometimes ambiguous and/or contradictory information; demonstrate good listening skills. Ability to quickly solve/determine problems working with technical/non-technical groups in areas that may not be primary area of expertise. Technical Responsibilities: Knowledge on S/4HANA migration from ECC Strong understanding of SAP modules required and should be able to translate functional requirements into technical specifications clearly and accurately. Sound understanding and experience in object-oriented design and programming required Strong skills in using ABAP proxy’s, Enhancements, RFC’s (Remote Function Call), Data Dictionary, Dialog Programming, Classical and Interactive Reporting, ALV, Interfaces/Conversions, Smart forms & EDI. Experience integrating SAP systems with external systems through PI or middleware is preferred. Experience in developing CDS views for ABAP. Experience in building AMDPs. Knowledge of RF programming is preferred. Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment is required. Worked in Agile projects Relevant Years of Experience: 10+ in SAP ABAP (Core), At least 4+ years as an architect, Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred. Must Have Technical Qualifications: Experience in S/4 HANA migration from ECC (brownfield experience). Experience in building CDS views, migrating or remediating ABAP code to 7.4. Extensive experience in ABAP development, with both custom development and customizations to existing processes, including use of IDOCs, ALE, RFC, BAPI, BADI, ALV, ABAP Workbench, Data Dictionary, Reports using OOP ABAP. Must Have Business Qualifications: Mentor the team when required and manage the offshore team by coordinating with them on a regular basis. Interact with other IT Development and Operations departments to clarify and build applications that meet a business unit’s objectives, create system documents and design, develop, and implement solutions to meet customer needs Act as a technical subject matter expert with regards to programming, system design, and development related activities. This includes leading code and design reviews within a project team Provide work estimates to managers and project managers as requested. Assist in the development, implementation, and adherence of systems development methodologies within projects
