About the Role We are seeking a talented and experienced Python Developer with a background in healthcare technology to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in backend development using Python, along with expertise in FastAPI, REST APIs, and MongoDB. Your work will directly contribute to building and maintaining solutions that positively impact the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities Healthcare Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain healthcare software solutions using  Python .
API Development: Build, optimize, and maintain  RESTful APIs and microservices using  FastAPI for seamless communication between healthcare systems.
Database Management: Design, manage, and optimize  MongoDB databases for healthcare applications, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulations such as HIPAA.
Healthcare Integration: Develop and integrate APIs to support interoperability between Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), diagnostics systems, and other healthcare applications.
Security and Compliance: Ensure all applications meet healthcare compliance standards, including data privacy and security.
Testing and Debugging: Write unit and integration tests to maintain high-quality code and debug issues efficiently.
Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation for developed features, APIs, and workflows.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including healthcare domain experts, product managers, and QA teams.
Required Skills Python Development: Strong programming skills with hands-on experience in building backend systems.
FastAPI Framework: Proven experience in developing APIs and microservices using FastAPI or similar frameworks.
RESTful API Design: Proficiency in designing and consuming REST APIs.
MongoDB: Expertise in NoSQL database design, management, and optimization.
Healthcare Experience: Familiarity with healthcare systems, workflows, and data integration, including EMRs, HL7, FHIR, or similar standards.
Testing Frameworks: Proficiency in automated testing using  pytest or  unittest .
Version Control: Experience with Git for collaborative development.
Additional Skills (Nice to Have) Knowledge of  HIPAA ,  GDPR , or other healthcare compliance standards.
Familiarity with healthcare standards like  HL7 ,  FHIR , or  DICOM .
Experience with asynchronous programming and libraries like  asyncio .
Exposure to cloud platforms such as  AWS ,  Azure , or  GCP for healthcare application deployment.
Understanding of containerization tools like  Docker and orchestration platforms like  Kubernetes .
