You will work closely with software engineers, architects, product managers, and partner teams to get high-quality products and features through the agile software development lifecycle.We are seeking a seasoned System Architect with deep expertise in enterprise job scheduling tools such as Control-M and IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scheduling architectures that support complex batch processing environments across hybrid infrastructures.Design scalable and resilient scheduling architectures using   Control-M ,   TWS , or similar toolsDefine system components and integration points based on cost-benefit analysis and user requirementsPartition large systems into manageable subsystems for efficient scheduling and monitoringLead deployment and configuration across   mainframe ,   distributed , and   cloud   environmentsIntegrate scheduling platforms with enterprise applications, databases, and monitoring toolsDevelop and maintain   job flows ,   calendars ,   dependencies , and   recovery proceduresAnalyze batch performance and optimize job scheduling to reduce latency and improve throughputMaintain scheduling environments, including   patching ,   upgrades , and   disaster recovery planningEnsure compliance with   security   and   audit   requirementsCollaborate with application teams, infrastructure engineers, and business stakeholdersProvide   Level 2/3 support   and participate in   24x7 on-call rotationsDocument architecture, job flows, and operational proceduresYour continuous grooming of features/user stories to estimate, identify technical risks/dependencies and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders will ensure the features are delivered with the right quality and within timeline. You will maintain and drive the clearing of technical debt, vulnerabilities, and currency of the 3rd party components within the product.As a Software Engineering Technical Specialist, you will also coach and mentor engineers to design and implement highly available, secure, distributed software in a scalable architecture. And finally, you're open and borderless - naturally inclusive in how you work with others.Required Technical and Professional Experience 8+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in   job scheduling architectureHands-on experience with   Control-M,   TWS, or similar workload automation toolsStrong understanding of   JCL,   REXX,   VSAM, and IBM utilities (e.g., IEBCOPY, IEBGENER)Familiarity with scheduling concepts like   conditional dependencies,   calendars,   triggers, and   recovery jobsExperience with   scripting   (Shell, Python, etc.) and integration with   APIsExcellent   problem-solving,   planning, and   communication   skillsPreferred Technical and Professional Experience BMC Certified Control-M Administrator or ArchitectIBM Certified Scheduler (TWS)ITIL Foundation   or equivalent certificationBachelor's degree in   Computer Science,   Information Systems, or related fieldBeing YouDiversity is a whole lot more than what we look like or where we come from, it's how we think and who we are.
