Job Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and student-focused Study Abroad Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will guide students through the entire process of studying abroad, from selecting the right course and university to visa processing and pre-departure support.
Key Responsibilities: Counsel students and parents about study abroad opportunities, eligibility, scholarships, and career prospects.
Assist students in selecting suitable programs, universities, and destinations based on their academic background and career goals.
Guide students through the admission process, application documentation, SOP/LOR writing, and submission.
Provide support in visa applications, financial documentation, and interview preparation.
Stay updated on country-specific visa policies, university admission criteria, and scholarships.
Conduct seminars, webinars, and informational sessions for students and parents.
Maintain a student database and follow up with leads to ensure smooth processing.
Coordinate with university representatives, embassies, and other stakeholders.
Support students with pre-departure briefings and post-arrival assistance.
Key Requirements: Education: Bachelor's/Master’s degree in any discipline.
Experience: 1-3 years in study abroad counseling, admissions, or education consultancy (Freshers with strong communication skills can apply).
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong sales and persuasion abilities.
Knowledge of university admissions and visa processes for countries like the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and Europe.
Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and email communication.
Languages: English (mandatory), additional languages are a plus.
