This role requires a professional with 3-5 years of experience in digital news video production who excels in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in digital video production, a deep understanding of YouTube News Video Operations, and a proven track record of success in driving views and engagement.


Key Responsibilities :


  • Digital Video Production: Oversee all aspects of digital video production, including scripting, graphics, thumbnails, SEO, and channel aesthetics.
  • Script Writing: Turn around digital video scripts quickly while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Content Creation: Develop compelling and engaging video content tailored for the YouTube platform, utilizing storytelling techniques to enhance viewer engagement.
  • Approach : Target-driven with a proven track record of success on views.
  • Ownership : Capable of overseeing all aspects of Digital Video Production, including Scripting, Graphics, Thumbnails, SEO, and Channel Aesthetics.
  • Editorial Judgment: Collaborate closely with the news desk to ensure the production of timely, accurate, and high-quality news content.
  • Technical Competence: Utilize industry-specific video editing software, design tools, and production methods effectively.
  • Coordination: Manage and coordinate all aspects of production and pre-production to deliver high-quality content on time.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor video performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize content for better views and engagement.
  • Ethical Standards: Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and adhere to the ethical framework established at Republic.


Requirements:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in digital news video production.
  • Skills: Proficiency in digital video production, with the ability to produce content within tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of YouTube News Video Operations and digital video content strategies.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in video editing software, design tools, and production methods relevant to news content.
  • Editorial Sense: Strong editorial judgment and the ability to collaborate with the news desk to ensure content quality.
  • Storytelling: Proven ability to integrate compelling storytelling techniques into video content.
  • Coordination: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple aspects of production efficiently.
