Role : Firmware Validation Lead.

Location : Ahmedabad, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Indore, Chennai, Noida.

Key Responsibilities :

- Owns SOC and Platform FW Integration, validation (including validation environment), and debugging of different domains within server architecture (such as SoC FWs, BIOS, BMC etc.).

- Responsible for interfacing with silicon, firmware, and platform groups to develop and execute validation test plans for Datacenter Server SoC products during emulation and post-silicon bring-up / validation, to debug SoC feature issues, and to run and maintain validation infrastructure.

- Manage team of 8-10 members.

- Publishes validation reports/dashboards summarizing all validation activities performed, reviews results, and communicate to relevant teams.

- Responsible for the creation of validation plans, test cases, and triage and debugging of failures.

Preferred Experience :

- Experience in system level Integration, validation, automation framework (such as Robot Framework), and debugging of system software.

- Ability to see system level "big picture" to validate that the integrated firmware/system software aligns to architectural goals of product.

- Experience in programming in Python(preferrable) or C.

- Experience in Create validation plans, develop test content, automate executions, and debug/triage of observed/reported failures.

- Experience of creating automated testing pipeline (CI/CD).

- Experience in firmware development and testing on multiple HW test environments (FPGA, Emulation, Simulation etc).

- Have deep experience of system level debugging (including customer issues) with good understanding of managing and triaging production level issues.

- Good knowledge of hardware debuggers like JTAG.

- Knowledge of automation framework setup and deployment.
