General Responsibilities:


  • Experience supporting Tableau on-prem & cloud
  • Experience with on-prem -> cloud migrations.
  • Continuous Improvements
  • Proactively maintains instance security posture by monitoring for pertinent patches &/or version upgrades
  • Documents test plans to support patching & upgrades
  • Support team to monitor, tune & optimize performance. Provides guidance on infrastructure requirements to support scaling
  • Provides support by creating and managing groups, workbooks and projects, database views, data sources and data connections
  • Assists with operational activities such
  • Tableau user group & user access administration
  • Technical Support, troubleshooting
  • License management monitoring,
  • ad hoc reporting needs
  • Any other Tableau support required for strategic initiatives


Qualifications:


  • Working knowledge of AWS, Redshift, Snowflake, and Okta user groups
  • 3 years of related experience using Tableau Data Visualization software or equivalent.
  • Windows client OS, Mac OS, Networking and Wireless Protocols, and Active Directory
  • Experience with scripting languages and concepts to automate manual processes
  • Tableau or other Visual Analytics tool experience is preferred
  • Tableau Server & Tableau Desktop
  • Familiarity with SQL and experience working with various databases. - Knowledge of data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing principles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong oral and data communication skills
