Java Identity Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Identity Engineer with strong Java and Cloud expertise to support and deliver CIAM-related workstreams. The ideal candidate will design and build secure identity solutions, integrate modern authentication standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance Customer Identity and Access Management capabilities. Requirements Responsibilities Develop and maintain identity services and integrations in Java. Support and deliver CIAM-related workstreams , including authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle workflows. Implement and integrate IAM standards such as OAuth2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML. Work with cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure ) for application deployment, identity management, and service integrations. Build scalable microservices and APIs for identity-related functionalities. Collaborate with product, security, and engineering teams to design secure identity architectures. Troubleshoot identity issues and improve system reliability, performance, and security. Must-Have Skills Strong, hands-on experience in Java and backend development. Proven experience working with Cloud platforms (Azure preferred). Experience building APIs, microservices, and integration workflows. Nice-to-Have Experience in Kotlin and Micronaut framework. Knowledge of CIAM protocols and standards (OAuth, OIDC, SAML ) Exposure to Azure AD / Azure B2C , application registrations, and identity integrations. Understanding of modern authentication, token-based access, and API security. Good to Have Experience in identity governance and access management tools. Understanding of security best practices and cloud architecture patterns. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
