Collaboration and teamwork are at the foundation of our culture and we need engineers who can communicate at a high level and work well with others towards achieving a common goal.Your ImpactBuild and lead a high-performing engineering teamResponsible for Prisma SD-WAN Control-plane & Datapath implementation on HW & SW platforms and related system architecture solutionsDevelop highly scalable & high performance datapath architecture for HW/SW platforms & SD-WAN featuresHandle large/complex projects that might require multiple teams’ collaboration to deliver themChampion engineering excellence, establish business metrics and drive continuous operational improvementsContinuously grow your skillset to induce increased innovation & product initiatives within the teamMaintain and cultivate high quality in terms of engineering practices, code quality, and work/foster a culture of engineering excellence, and execution agilityProvide technical guidance and direction to the engineering team membersCommunicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress, risks, and roadblocksSet clear expectations, goals, and performance metrics for team membersOversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time and with high quality

QualificationsYour Experience10+ years of hands-on experience building distributed, resilient, performant and scalable web applications in "C" & related technologies2+ years of experience in managing a team is mustStrong technical knowledge in computer architecture, Systems engineering, Datapath & Networking protocols spaceUnderstanding & strong working experience in TCP/IP Networking, Routing, IPSEC, SSL etc protocolsWorking experience in SD-WAN technologies is added plusExceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a teamEffective people management, including performance evaluation and career developmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesProven experience in product development and product lifecycle managementExperience in High AvailabilityExperience in DPDK packet processing and performance tuning is desiredExperience/understanding of Virtualization concepts, such as ESXi, KVM, Hyper-VExperience with one or more cloud infrastructure & services is a plus - AWS, GCP, Azure - is added plusCan-do attitude and ability to take initiative and drive open issues to completion
