TITLE: Project Manager – Transmission

BUSINESS: ZF Commercial Vehicle Solution India Pvt ltd

SCOPE :

Manages (plan, track, steer) all necessary actions to ensure flawless execution of development or related cost reduction projects. Manages multiple projects within Cross Functional Teams. Accountability for the entire project regarding Quality, Cost and Delivery and Productivity (QCD – P)

REPORTING TO: Leader of Project Management BU/BE

REPORTEES: Cross Functional team members

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

Overseeing the execution of projects, ensuring that all related activities are performed in accordance with ZF CVS policy, contractual agreements and quality standards. Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing project hand-over, execution planning and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals Defining all project plan documents in relation to scope, budget, schedule, and risk management Monitoring each stage of project implementation to ensure harmonization and best practices in terms of production and testing, cost control, resource efficiency, risk management and health, safety and the environment Identifying, analyzing and addressing project risks, with the regular sharing of lessons learnt Coordinating contract negotiation and claims with customers, in collaboration with the Supply Chain and Legal functions Coordinate and oversee team development and standardized process development to continually improve effectiveness of project and production teams Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as the key contact for the internal R&D team and the end customer as an escalation point for project issues Managing all aspects of the project to agreed-upon customer requirements, ensuring all technical, safety, quality and financial targets are met, and relevant guidelines are followed Monitoring and controlling project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses and cash flow Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and acknowledgement by the customer Living our leadership pillars

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS :

Customer satisfaction during development ( Internal and External) Achievement projects profitability Delivery zero defects during development phases Improvement of time to market Reduction of development costs xCDP enhancement QCD-P fulfillment

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

PMP certified or equivalent Minimum 8 years  in Project Management of Driveline systems integration projects Experience in the Transmission & axles Proven knowledge, skills and experience to lead all project execution activities in the area of responsibility

FUNCTIONAL & TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Knowledge of project management processes and tools, e.g MS Office, MS Project, Planisware, SAP… Proven record of Portfolio management of multiple projects with differing complexities and nuances simultaneously Experience in the management and leadership of a team of professionals where project team members are geographically dispersed Good Techno-commercial capabilities Result oriented and strong leadership skills Excellent communications skills in English(German, French or any other European language is considered as an asset) Failure root cause analysis QR6S
