Hiring Educators for Multiple Subjects

At Vidyashilp Academy in North Bangalore, we seek passionate and experienced educators to join our team for the academic year.

Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for subject experts with strong knowledge and a commitment to excellence in teaching. Your responsibilities will include planning, preparing, and delivering courses and lessons in alignment with the ICSE, IGCSE, and ISC curriculum for Classes 1 to 5 and 6-12 grades.

You will stay updated with subject knowledge and educational trends relevant to your field and engage proactively in classroom teaching, ensuring interactive and effective learning experiences.

Your subject expertise is crucial – educators must have strong knowledge and proficiency in Computer Science, English, EVS, Commerce, ATL, or Physics.

You will design lesson plans that cater to diverse student abilities and learning needs, assign and evaluate weekly assignments, quizzes, and assessments, and provide timely feedback and correction of student work to track their progress.

You will also maintain records of student performance and communicate effectively with parents during PTMs or as needed, ensure a safe, inclusive, and conducive classroom environment, and encourage self-learning and critical thinking among students.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience in ICSE/IGCSE/ISC or a similar curriculum in a school setting.
  • Post-Graduation in the respective subject is a must.
  • B.Ed. is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong subject expertise in Computer Science, English, EVS, Commerce, ATL, or Physics.
  • Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to support administrative tasks and assist the Lead Educator as required.
  • Passion for fostering student success in academics and extracurricular activities.
