Role Overview:
CloudDefense.AI is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic sales team. This role is perfect for individuals looking to kick start their career in tech sales, especially in the fast-paced and rapidly growing field of cloud security. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, engaging with prospective customers, and generating leads to support the sales pipeline.
As an SDR, you will be the first point of contact for many of our potential clients. This is a critical role where you’ll drive growth by creating interest in CloudDefense.AI’s solutions and passing qualified opportunities to the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research to identify target accounts and key decision-makers within the enterprise cloud security space.
Reach out to prospects via outbound calls, emails, and social media to generate new business opportunities.
Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and website inquiries.
Engage with prospective customers to understand their cloud security challenges and position CloudDefense.AI’s value proposition.
Collaborate with Sales Executives to schedule meetings and hand off qualified leads.
Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and prospect interactions in the CRM system.
Stay updated on industry trends, cloud security technologies, and competitive offerings to better engage with potential customers.
Meet and exceed monthly targets for generating qualified leads and contributing to the overall sales pipeline.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or lead generation (experience in SaaS, tech, or cloud security is a plus).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage prospects via phone, email, and social media.
Highly motivated, self-starter with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Strong research skills and the ability to identify key decision-makers within target accounts.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment with a collaborative team.
Familiarity with CRM software and sales engagement tools, Apollo and other tool is must
