Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MERN Stack Technical Lead to join our team on a full-time basis. As a technical lead, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and implementation of web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js). You will be leading a talented team of developers, fostering collaboration, innovation, and excellence in every project.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the development and deployment of scalable and efficient web applications using the MERN stack.- Collaborate with project managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.- Mentor and guide the development team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.- Ensure code quality, reliability, and scalability through best practices, peer reviews, and automated testing.- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, applying this knowledge to drive innovation within the team.- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.- Manage the deployment process, including configuration, testing, and release management.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Proven experience as a MERN stack developer with a strong portfolio of projects.- Minimum 3 years of technical lead experience at one company.- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.- Deep understanding of React.js and its core principles, including familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript.- Experience with Node.js and frameworks available for it (such as Express, StrongLoop, etc.).- Knowledge of MongoDB, including database design and management.- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, HTML/CSS, and modern front-end build pipelines and tools.- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).- Agile/Scrum experience with a strong understanding of refinements.- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to mentor and lead by example.- Pragmatic, motivator, and strong leadership skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English.

This role needs to start on the 1st of July. The client is willing to buy out the notice period if possible.
