Guidewire Developer

Exp - 2-11yrs Job Location - Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune and Kolkatta Work Model-Hybrid (2 days work from office in a week ) Level - Assistant conultant /Consultant/Sr.Consultant Candidates must have experience in Integration or Claim Center or Guidewire Billing Center / Rating Education: B.E./B. Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university Prior Experience: • 2 - 10 years of experience working with Guidewire Configuration / Integration • Java/J2EE resource with 1.8+ years of Guidewire Experience (PolicyCenter/BillingCenter/ClaimCenter) QUALIFICATIONS Skills / Project Experience: Must Have: • 2-10 years of hands-on experience in Guidewire Configuration / Integration • Experience on functional and technical systems analysis & design, system architectural design, presentation, process interfaces design, process flow design, and system impact analysis and design documentation and presentation. • Experience in developing applications using TDD (Test Driven Development) & Unit testing process. • Experience with SCRUM process of Agile (Iterative) development methodology. • Experience in development, testing, and maintenance of programming environments and architectural standards • Ability to perform estimation of work products • Proactive drive on improvement and innovation ideas • Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools • Experience working on agile development teams (ideally leveraging Scrum or Kanban) • Should have Platform Upgrade Experience • Hands-on experience with GOSU, Web Services and XML • Should be able to understand GW Integration / Configuration concepts • Should able to design and develop Guidewire Integration Components/ Configure PC or BC or CC • Should be able to write GOSU code Good to Have: • Experienced in CodeNarc or similar tools. • Experience with latest Guidewire cloud versions. • Certifications in Guidewire – ACE/ Cloud certifications. The work you will do includes: • Develop and unit test Guidewire solutions. Apply industry standard object-oriented programming best practices and design patterns • Research, evaluate and identify alternative solutions and recommendations for the most efficient and cost-effective application programming solutions • Troubleshoot production issues and provide on-going support for the solution • Provide guidance to more junior team members and conduct code reviews as needed • Communicate and collaborate with business analysts, technical developers and architects on business requirements for new processes as well as enhancements to existing solutions • Part of the team that will Design and implement / operate solutions that span selection, planning, operational improvement, implementation, and the operation of core technologies that include analytics and information management, cloud migration, and underwriting services • Lead and drive discussions with business and functional analysts to understand the business requirements and the impact of integration on the overall business architecture • Prepare technical architecture and design; help shape requirements; and resolve ambiguities • Develop solutions following established technical design, integration application development standards and quality processes in projects • Establish technical design/development guides, templates and standards and ensure compliance • Run the daily calls / scrum meetings with respect to deliverables and build the weekly status reports to be reviewed with leadership • Perform detailed reviews on deliverables and provide technical guidance to the team members • Interact with onsite clients, coordinator / scrum master, analyst and offshore development, support team and other cross-functional teams • Design templates or scripts to automate everyday developer or operations functions
