  • Conduct risk assessments and safety audits on civil engineering projects (roads, bridges, buildings, infrastructure, etc.)
  • Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs in compliance with local and international safety standards.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses; identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to ensure safety standards are integrated into project planning and execution.
  • Perform hazard identification and job safety analysis (JSA) for high-risk tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO 45001, and other relevant health and safety legislation.
  • Maintain documentation of safety inspections, accident reports, and safety training records.
  • Support emergency response planning and drills.
  • Recommend and manage personal protective equipment (PPE) use and safety signage at sites.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certification in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA,IOSH, CSP, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices in civil engineering environments.
  • Proficient in safety audit and inspection techniques.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-pressure environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35, ₹40,000.00 per month
